WORLD’S BEST AND UNIQUE AYURVEDA TREATMENT CENTRE: AYURVEDA YOGA HOLISTIC RESEARCH CENTRE AND HOSPITAL
Ayurveda, a natural system of medicine, originated in India more than 3,000 years ago. The term Ayurveda is derived from the Sanskrit words Ayur (life) and Veda (science or knowledge). Thus, Ayurveda translates to knowledge of life. Based on the idea that disease is due to an imbalance or stress in a person’s consciousness, Ayurveda encourages specific lifestyle interventions and natural therapies to regain a balance between the body, mind, spirit, and the environment. Ayurvedic treatments are backed by the Vedic ages and brought in by ancient Vedic Rishis who are the embodiment of extraordinary perception skills. Ayurvedic treatment is the stream of knowledge from Atharva Veda, one of the four Vedas.

Significance of Kerala Ayurveda
Kerala is famous for ayurveda treatment. Kerala due to its geographical isolation was always protected from foreign invasion till the end of the 15th century thus it was also protected from the degradation of its traditional wisdom. This led to preserving the knowledge of Ayurveda and also developed a few unique treatment protocols which are found only in Kerala. Ayurveda has been carefully nurtured in Kerala for more than a thousand years. Ayurveda is a way of life to us and not simply a method to cure ailments. Our land is blessed with several herbal medicines and these have played a crucial role in ensuring the growth of Ayurveda on our shores.
Disease – Ayurvedic Concept
Ayurveda views the treatment of disease in a much different way than modern medicine. There is no single medicine for a specific cure. The disease is considered an imbalance in the body, mind, and prana, and maximum effort is given to restore the body, mind, and prana to their normal constitution. Hence the Ayurvedic practitioner aims at the holistic growth of the patient instead of focusing on a single issue. This ensures long-term health benefits and stabilizes the body.
The ways and means followed by Ayurveda are completely based on the Vedic principles and learnings. The Ayurveda treatment helps to increase the longevity of life and indicates the measure of a healthy life. Treatments inspired by Ayurveda are those that follow the natural curative techniques thus improving the health condition of an individual. There are various cleansing procedures that are highly beneficial to eliminate the toxins from the body so that the body can breathe freely. As mentioned above that Ayurveda is an ancient discipline, its history dates back to 6000 BC, and the recorded texts of Ayurveda evolved from the Vedas. In modern times the demand and popularity of this ancient discipline are widespread. The history of Ayurveda treatment can be seen where the sages used to use medicinal plants and herbs to cure diseases or in any cuts and wounds. India is considered to be the largest producer of medicinal plants. It was directly applied whenever needed but with time and also with the advancement of science and technology,
Rejuvenation Therapy (Immunity enhancing treatments)
Among Ayurveda’s, most significant achievements is making the body strong and preventing the contraction of diseases. This process is done via rejuvenation therapy. Here the body is flushed clean of toxins using special herbs. This has proven to strengthen the immune system immensely and drastically improve the overall condition of the patient.
Misconceptions about Ayurveda
Ayurveda treatment isn’t simply encompassed by massages given with medicinal oils. The duration of the treatment can vary from over a week to months and includes a vast variety of treatments. They depend solely on the individual and their present condition. Ailments ranging from paralysis to back pain can be treated using these methods. The complexity and chronic nature of the disease decide the overall time period the treatment will take.
